Nicholas Negroponte, chairman and founder of MIT's Media Labs, says he is developing a laptop PC that will go on sale for less than one hundred dollars. Such a tool could greatly accelerate the development of poor countries where kids could be given a laptop at school and take it home where the whole family can benefit from it. China is already banking on it, as a replacement of the old textbooks. Of course this will have a major impact in the development of Africa as the Prophet RAEL has been explaining in His program for Africa during the last decade and more recently during the African festival in Accra Ghana. Here is what He added today: A similar computer made in Africa for Africa, eventually made with local materials, could even be cheaper and could be called "afro pc"... All African goverments should spend money on that instead of buying weapons...and making their politicians billionaires with briberies.
