A study released a few days ago by the National Home Education Research Institute (NHERI) estimates that there were over 2 million children being home-schooled in the United States in 2010. According to the HSDLA, the Home School Legal Defense Association which advocates the legal right of parents to home-school their children, there were only an estimated 20,000 home-schooled children 30 years ago.
Rael commented on this news saying that it is a wonderful trend. “With computers and internet there is no more need for schools and universities.”

In a recent interview to a French magazine, Rael was explaining that Internet is becoming the Internet the central nervous system of Humanity. “People can find by themselves the knowledge they seek instead of buying what the main media are telling them.
